Detox means: staying away from the toxins, toxin drainage and maintenance of detox systems.

Our bodies are built to detox on their own. But today’s society circumstances hinder the ability of our body’s to detox. We are living in a world that promotes processed food, causes overload and stress and ignores the fact that our bodies are made to move, since it forces us to sit most of the time (in office, in car, at home, …). The decision to exercise is now completely left to individuals.

It is affecting the organism’s ability to detox itself. In order to not having problems with constipation, bloating, chronical fatigue, weight gain, negativity, chronic diseases, weakened immune system function, premature aging, bad skin quality, and other problems, we can help our organism to detox with right detox diet.

We came to a realization that we don’t need to fast ourselves in order to detox our organism. But we need to follow certain rules to do it correctly. Marion Grillparzer put those rules so well together that I borrowed them from her.

Here are 24 rules you need to know to detox your organism effectively.

  1. DRINK A LOT

Drinking water washes toxins out of body. Drinking 70 to 100 ounces (2 to 3 liters) of water a day stimulate kidney. You can drink it warm or cold, with lemon or green tea. Forbidden drinks are: carbonated drinks, beer, and alcohol. In detox week unfortunately also fruit juices. You can drink sugar free coffee, but only if you drink twice of that amount of water alongside. Namely, sudden withdrawal of coffee is stress for the organism, and stress acidified body more than that cup of coffee.

  1. PROHIBITION of eating prepared meals

That way you will not consume toxins like acrylamide and trans-fatty acids, sugar and wheat, artificial additives like aromas, preservatives, colorings, flavorings and sweeteners. For those our body doesn’t have genetic code. All that overloads our already overloaded detox system.

  1. NO SUGAR

In order to decompose large amount of sugar in your body, body needs vitamin B1. It is required by the liver for metabolism. Lack of vitamin B1, interrupts detox system. Also candida, yeast in the intestine that interrupts healthie colonization in intestines, is feeding with sugar. The simplest way is to starve it with no sugar and no wheat diet.

  1. LITTLE TO NO FRUIT

Fruit sugar must also go to the forbidden food list in order to support liver in detox. That is why you mustn’t eat fruit in detox week, only 2 sour apples, which is required. 1 sour apple can be replaced by 5 ounces (150 grams) of berries.

  1. NO FOOD THAT CONTAINS YEAST

Yeast loves candida. But we want to get rid of candida in the coming weeks. That is why you must not eat ready-made soups, donuts, bakery products, white bread, light beer,…

  1. SKIP WHEAT

Modern wheat in industrial product is genetically so modified, that because of it a lot of people suffer from stomach pain, it triggers allergies, stimulates inflammation in body, it attracts more insulin than regular sugar.

  1. REPLACE PASTA

If you really can’t avoid pasta, try spelled pasta. Usually people better tolerate spelled pasta than modern white wheat. But it wouldn’t hurt if you avoided pasta in 1st detox week.

  1. EAT ONLY NATURAL RICE
  2. NO BREAD

1st week don’t eat bread. After the 1st week of detox everything made out of spelt is allowed (without yeast!) and out of rye sourdough. Avoid wheat, in particular white flour, a few more weeks after the detox is over. Anybody who wants to detox stricter, without consuming gluten, must also cancel rye, spelt and oats too. There are a lot of others products made of amaranth, quinoa, buckwheat, millet, which you can replace with.

  1. READ DECLARATIONS

Everything that contains sugar and starch should be excluded from the menu in the next 3 weeks. Avoid food that contains glucose, starch, corn syrup, glutamate, flavorings, sweeteners, sugar substitutes, wheat.

  1. NO WHOLE GRAINS

In the detox week the intestines will be much burdened. To help intestines, finely grind the allowed grains.

  1. MAKE YOUR STOCK OF PROTEIN

There is no detox and repair of damaged intestinal cells without protein. That is why make sure that in your detox week you will from day 3 consume easily digestible protein. It is recommended to consume 0,05 ounces (1,5 grams) of protein per 35 ounces (1 kg) of your body weight. Example: chicken breast, turkey breast, milk, yogurt, mozzarella, lentils, beans, wild rice, flax seed tablespoon protein powder,…

  1. SALT WITH NATURAL SALT

With salt flower, crystal or sea salt. Ratio of minerals in natural salts is similar to ratio in our blood. That is why it supports detox program. Regular salt contains only 2 minerals: sodium and chlorine.

  1. LOTS OF VEGETABLES

Vegetables, vegetables, vegetables. Eat it. At least 3 times a day. It has to substitute fruit too.  If you are struggling with preparing fresh veggies, frozen will do, as long it is free of a seasoning sauce. Ideally, keep within easy reach a vegetable soup. It is good for your stomach and it satiates the worst hunger.

  1. ESSENTIAL FATS

Every day add to your green smoothie a tea spoon of flaxseed oil. Twice a week eat a piece of oily sea fish. If you don’t like it, take Omega-3 capsule. Prepare vegetable with walnut and olive oil.

  1. CORIANDER PESTO

Against toxins in your body there grew a special herb: coriander. In the combination with garlic it will quickly show the toxins a way out of body.

3 times a day consume a tea spoon of this pesto (with soup, yogurt, and vegetable). Recipe: blend together 2 bunches of coriander, half a head of garlic, 1,7 ounces (50 g) peeled almonds, 1,7 ounces (50 g) pecans, 6,7 ounces (200 ml) olive oil, 3,5 ounces (100 g) freshly grated cheese pecorino, sea salt, ground pepper

  1. DETOX HERBS

Juniper and fennel seeds stimulate the kidneys and the discharge water from the body. Rosemary maintains active liver.

  1. EAT NUTS AND SEEDS

Nuts and seeds give us detox minerals: zinc, copper, manganese and selenium. Chop them and sprinkle them in the soup or blend them in your green smoothie. Consume them 10 to 1,7 ounces (30 to 50 g) a day.

  1. FIBER

Fiber will help us get rid of toxins and it will support the colonization of good bacteria.

  1. GREEN SMOOTHIE

Every morning drink a green smoothie. It is like life insurance for all the cells. You will feel energized in 10 minutes. Cravings will stop because your body will get what it needs.  Green smoothie supplies your organism with vitamin C and E, Beta Carotene, selenium, chlorophyll, and antioxidants, suppresses viruses and bacteria, and supplies each cell with enzymes and micro- nutrients from plants. It will take care for the alkaline environment.

  1. SCRAPE UP YOUR TONGUE

Oral mucosa is a good place for detoxification. Every morning scrap the tongue. Then stream the sunflower, sesame or peanut oil in your month until it colors white. Then spit it out. After that rinse your mouth and brush your teeth thoroughly. Oil pulls out of the body bacteria, acids, heavy metals and other toxic substances. It has a healing effect on the oral flora and also whitens teeth.

  1. 30 MINUTES OF EXERCISE

Exercise stimulates metabolism and burns fat. Toxins love to hang out in fat tissue. 30 minutes a day enable good metabolism. Jumping and gravitational force stimulates lymphatic circulation.

  1. ALTERNATING SHOWERING AND BRUSHING BODY

It promotes blood circulation and metabolism. Side effects: pink, shiny skin without of usage of an anti-aging cream.

  1. BALANCED RATIO OF MINERALS

Low levels of calcium, zinc and selenium are good circumstances for accumulation of toxins. Balanced ratio of minerals prevents accumulation of toxins.

After detoxing, try to incorporate those rules in your daily life routine. For example; I drink green smoothies every morning to get all the nutrients I need and start a day energized, I don’t purchase processed meals, I eat a lot of fruit and vegetable, ….
